What?

 I work with each student individually. We work in person and dig deep to dredge up the details we need. When we say goodbye, I want you to have a brilliant essay and some new communication skills. To make that happen, we sit together for about an hour and talk about what works, what doesn’t and why. We each write notes. Then you work through the things we discussed and send me the next draft. I study it and write more notes. You make another appointment and we brainstorm again. We do as many drafts as it takes.
